On December 26, 2025, as the flight from Phnom Penh to Dara Sakor glided smoothly over the mangroves, the vibrant land of Koh Kong Province, Cambodia, ushered in a momentous occasion—the first anniversary of the official operation of Dara Sakor International Airport (DSY). Through 365 days of unwavering commitment and breakthroughs, this air hub, with safety as its sail and growth as its oar, has written a stirring chapter of evolution from a fledgling airport to a regional transportation pivot. Safety is the lifeline of civil aviation and the cornerstone on which Dara Sakor International Airport is built. Over the past year, the airport has delivered an outstanding performance with zero accidents and zero safety incidents, living up to all expectations: it has operated a total of 82 flight sorties, safely transporting 5,010 passengers, with 2 flights achieving full occupancy. Behind these remarkable achievements lies a dedication to relentless professionalism. Throughout its operations, the airport has strictly adhered to the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and Cambodia’s national aviation regulations. From staff training to procedure optimization, it has established a full-chain safety defense system.
