Launched in 2008, the Dara Sakor Project took on a new lease on life after being taken over by the COASTAL CITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP in 2022. Positioning itself as a “city operator,” the Group practices the philosophy of “building the city first, operating it next, and revitalizing it ultimately.” This approach is driving the region's rapid transformation into an international hub-level coastal new city, fully opening a new paradigm of development. The vision of a city operator lies in connecting a region's major arteries. Since taking over operations, the Group has accelerated the implementation of a macro-transportation network with high standards: The 4E-class Dara Sakor International Airport successfully completed its maiden flight at the end of 2024, officially commenced operations in 2025, and recently concluded its full-process flight calibration in April 2026 in preparation for international chartered flights, marking a substantive step in international route deployment. The 10,000-ton-class passenger and cargo port, which also accommodates cruise ships, launched a direct maritime fast route to China's coast in 2023. In the long term, a 100,000-ton-class deep-water port will be planned and constructed, forming a three-tier maritime transport system covering short-sea fast transport, medium-range cold chain logistics, and long-distance bulk cargo.
