Dara Sakor preparation is more than carrying cash, buying a SIM and memorizing an emergency number. The official Bakong manual proves a tourist app with dual-currency KHQR and receipts, not universal merchant acceptance. A 2026 regulator release proves some operators deploy 5G within Koh Kong, not stable service in every room, road, beach or port. Official 117, 118 and 119 are national entries, not a fixed Dara Sakor response time. Put payment, data, charging, regular medicine, insurance, transfer, vehicle and return into one trip brief, then obtain item-by-item replies from the intended stay, activity provider, driver or host for the intended date. The one-map system stores only sources and content_id for user review, distribution and follow-up; it requests no identity or payment secret and provides no diagnosis or rescue dispatch.

Start with three layers: national entry, provider information and exact-point tests

The central bank and telecom regulator establish payment systems, regulatory releases and short-code entries. Group PDFs and operator pages identify hotels, airport, beach, golf and host entries. Only an intended-date merchant reply, room test, driver confirmation and order can answer how a visitor will pay, connect, charge and return. The three layers do not replace one another.

Submit the exact stay or activity, pin, arrival and departure, party, children or older travellers, work connectivity, regular medicine, mobility limits and any Koh Sdach extension. Koh Sdach is outside the Dara Sakor project but strongly linked through the mainland, Koh Sdach Port, pre-post nights and visitor flow, so its vessels, data, medical transfer and return require a separate line.

Use cash and KHQR in parallel: verify the recipient and keep an offline receipt

The Bakong Tourists manual covers email registration, passport-selfie verification, riel and dollar KHQR, transfers, exchange, bank deposit, history and receipts. It is an official entry for understanding Cambodian digital payment, not proof that every Dara Sakor hotel, restaurant, driver, course or vessel accepts the same method. Ask each provider about currency, cash or KHQR, fee, deposit, refund and exact recipient name.

Before scanning or sending, personally verify amount, currency, recipient and verification warning; then save status and receipt while keeping reasonable cash backup. Recovery code, password, OTP, passport selfie and card data stay within the official app or issuer. Do not send them to the one-map system, a screenshot contact or an unknown intermediary. The system collects no merchant payment and cannot decide that a refund is complete.

Check data and charging in the exact room and route, not from provincial claims

A 2026 regulator release says some operators deploy 5G in Koh Kong, and Smart's visible list reaches Khemarak Phoumin and Srae Ambel. This does not prove every Dara Sakor or Botum Sakor point, much less indoor, road, beach, golf or port reliability. Ask the stay or host to test the intended operator recently in the exact room, meeting area and main route for calls, upload, download or video.

Remote work also needs the property Wi-Fi provider, room reach, login limits, concurrent use, outage backup, router-reset contact and mobile-data fallback. Every traveller should store pins, orders, contacts and return plans offline. Confirm sockets, adapter, night power, power bank and airline battery rules, and never turn an old PDF's network statement or one test into a permanent condition.

Build a medical-transfer chain; do not treat a short code as on-site capacity

The official directory checked on 2 August 2026 lists police 117, fire 118 and ambulance 119. Store them offline, but also obtain from the actual stay or activity provider the exact address, on-site lead, nearest receiving facility, road or vessel transfer, night and severe-weather fallback, expected timing, insurance and payment terms. A national code alone proves no fixed Dara Sakor ambulance, hospital bed or marine rescue.

Prepare enough regular medicine in original packaging according to the prescription and professional medical advice, with names, doses, allergies and emergency contacts. Children, older travellers, pregnancy, chronic conditions, mobility limits or water activity require individual assessment. In a real emergency protect life and contact local services and people on site. This guide provides no diagnosis, dose change, fitness decision or promise that a call connects or help arrives within a stated time.

The brief includes content_id, intended date, exact pin, arrival-return mode, party and special needs, stay, activities, payment currency and method, recipient name, mobile operator, room Wi-Fi, charging, regular medicine, insurance, nearest receiving option, transfer, emergency contacts, night-weather fallback, any Koh Sdach extension and return. Each provider should date its reply and state the applicable scope.

The one-map system stores national evidence, dated history, current operator entries and live replies as separate layers for user review, distribution and follow-up.
